Overview

Pure-Flo® Select 450 by Oil-Dri is a finely divided selective silicate adsorbent positioned for targeted reduction of soaps, phospholipid-related impurities, selected trace metals and other polar contaminants in compatible edible-oil, biodiesel and renewable-feedstock processing applications.

Select 450 is most naturally evaluated as a pretreatment adsorbent before bleaching, filtration, conversion or downstream refining. Rather than serving primarily as a broad decolorizing clay, it is intended to help reduce process-sensitive impurities that may affect feedstock quality, filtration, catalyst exposure, downstream conversion or finished-product specifications.
